The Designer
Studying at The Academy of Design in Toronto gave me a foundation for the design industry, but it was correspondence courses taken through England’s Rhodec School that sparked an idea. I took this "virtual experience" and used it as the basis for my own interior design business. I quickly realized that I needed to be my own boss, and that I wanted to simplify the design process, and make professional services available to everyone.
My "dream client" doesn't have an endless budget; instead they challenge my creativity. With a use-what-you've got approach, I look at space as an extension of self. It should reflect you, and your lifestyle.
The Pack Leader
Besides being Sonny's wife, I am his partner-in-crime and the "creative force" behind Dog Talk. While Sonny works his magic, I take care of the behind-the scenes stuff. We make a pretty great team, and we're on the verge of creating something great for owners and their dogs. stay with us, to watch it all unfold. Being surrounded by dog's is daily life for us, and documenting the journey and sharing it on the Dog Talk Blog (and here of course) is a pleasure.
